Today we are announcing the arrival of a new web presence for LifePoint, the LifePoint Church Blog.
We are thrilled to bring another way to hear everything that is going on at LifePoint. We plan to feature some great stories from volunteers and staff, while introducing you to amazing stories of life-change along the way. You will have direct access to comment on the blog, provide feedback, and share your own stories. We look forward to celebrating stories, sharing the latest news, and capturing what God is doing in our midst—while hearing back from you, right here.
We hope you enjoy the new blog and become engaged in the stories of the people in Middle Tennessee.
Welcome to the LifePoint Church blog!

Dear Pat…..Here's some feedback regarding last weeks sermon ( 8/9/2009 ) concerning your interpretation of James 5:14,15. You stated that these verses were mis-translated and did not mean physical sickness but rather meant spiritual weakness. I find however that all 5 versions of bibles I own use the word sick. If context means everything, the words "raise him up" seems to indicate a position of physical weakness. Also Strong's greek dictionary predominately uses sick or sickness as definitions. The same greek word used in John 4:46, 11:2,3, Mark 6:56 can only mean physical sickness. Thanks for the opportunity to blog!
