With the launch of the new LifePoint Church website, we released a new page called Guided Tour. This new page is designed to make it easy for guests to have a great first experience at LifePoint. The page includes tips for navigating a pleasant Sunday morning experience and offers a guided tour for guests.

This past Sunday was the first guided tour our Guest Services team has given. And it was a success! Here’s an email sent to one of our staff from the first time attender.

…TJ was a great host/tour guide. The Church was everything we expected and more. The kids had a great time and knew some of their teachers and other children in their class. Which was a plus, they were kind of hesitant when I told them we wanted to try another Church.

We plan on coming back…

Thanks again

Lisa

We could not do this without a great first impressions team, who are willing to serve and be a smiling face to guests.

Hopefully this continues to be another tool that breaks down some of the barriers people have when attending church, and allows LifePointer’s to feel comfortable to invite their unchurched friends to use the guided tour.

We have a brand new media player that loads lightning fast and allows you to jump ahead with practically no load time, great slider tabs on the Adults’, Students’, and Children’s page that allow for easier more direct navigation, and much more.

We also designed the new website with visitors in mind. Feel free to tell your unchurched/seeking friends to check us out online, so they know exactly what to expect.

God has blessed me with many things. A great family, job, friends, and well…things. I know we aren’t supposed to run after “things”, but sometimes God just blesses us beyond what we could ask or imagine.

Recently God blessed my family with a new vehicle. Not just any vehicle, but one that I’ve wanted my whole life. I was so overwhelmed by His goodness, that I prayed He would allow me to use it for His Kingdom. It didn’t take long. All I had to do was park it out front and wait.

Very soon God brought two different neighbors to my doorstep to get a closer look.

I was able to talk about church and small group to the first neighbor and begin a relationship that is still developing.

The second “out of the blue” encounter had results that were more immediate. Upon coming up the driveway to talk about the vehicle, I soon learned that this neighbor had lost his job four weeks prior. He was searching and needed the peace that only God could provide. After some small talk, I was able to pray right there in my driveway for him and invite he and his entire family to our church.

Well, guess what, he came. After just one visit he knew LifePoint was where he and his family needed to be. Not only that, but he came by my house the Tuesday after to tell me that he had more job interviews lined up in the past two days than he had the previous four weeks!

God is good. I will strive to remember that all I have is His and will be used for His purposes and not my own.
